You can maximise the window so that you can switch from your mac to Windows with just a swipe. In order to launch Windows you don't even need to restart your machine, you just need to run Parallels and it will open on as any other application does. Parallels work great as you can work as if you were on a Windows from your mac. * Improvements from version to version are insignificant but they present them as they are breakthroughs. * Version 13 was promised to be much quicker than 12 but in fact, it made my virtual Windows run a lot slower than before. * The price they charge for upgrading older versions.

Running Windows 10 inside Parallels on my MacBook simply works as if it's completely native and it can connect and transfer files to and from my MacOS seamlessly. There are only 2 apps now that I still sometimes use on Windows and for which I don't have licenses on Mac: MS Project and Visio. However, in the past few years the Office apps on Mac has become just as good and almost completely identical in how they present files that were generated on Windows platforms and also, Explorer has lost its dominance and there are no sites that require me to access them from Windows only. I mainly needed Parallels so that I can use Microsoft Office apps and to run Microsoft Explorer for some sites that insisted on using it (especially my bank).

You can set the Quality setting (/Settings/Sound Setup/Quality) to 1 and it will run fine, but 2 is still far too slow.

You must still set PAL to 1 in /Settings/Main Setup, however. PAL timed games now run at their proper speed, 50 FPS. Less odd crackling caused by audio underruns. Previously, it could go up to 1 second if you entered the menu too much.

Supported: *.nes, *.fds, *.zip Important note for *.fds: 1) don't forget to place disksys.rom to ~/.fceux 2) *.fds files are not shown in gmenu2x rom browser, just zip them for good Game Genie 1) put Game Genie rom to ~/.fceux and rename it to gg.rom 2) enable Game Genie from Main Menu Some rare games (like Elite shown above) require PAL setting to be on (Main Settings). Here's the latest stable FCEUX 2.2.3 combined with the gui from fceu320.
